Words of Wisdom from a Wise man

CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS?
Sir/Ma, one of the greatest mistakes you will make in life is to keep on seeing people with the 'eyes of their yesterday'. That's your problem!
You knew when they were 'wee-weeing and poo-pooing' on their pants and till now, even with where God has taken them to, you have refused to 'upgrade' them in your mind. Yet you are still asking why your relationship with them keep having frictions now and then. You taught him in Primary 1 and even now that he is the Governor of a State, you still look at him, treat him and address him like a Primary 1 pupil! Foul! You missed it! It may work for you with some people, but for some other people, you will loose them from your side forever if you continue that way!
You are only blaming them that they have become proud since they 'grew up'. Sir, nobody wants to be brought low - including humble people! Even when you say 'See small Ngozi of yesterday'...please also acknowledge where and who Ngozi has become now'.
'I knew him when he was just starting in the ministry/career'', 'he is even in our age grade', 'we were class mates'; Sir, after the initial 'testimony of that your classmate thing', please I beg you to 'upgrade' your knowledge and begin to see that 'celebrated minister/career/business man 'he has become'. If there is any honour that goes with his present status, please don't deny him that honour. Instead let him be the one to protest and ask you not to bother!
It amazes me when I hear you say 'I brought him up'. Oga, please since you brought him 'up', at least see him in that 'up' that you 'brought him' and don't look 'down' on him!
And for those who went 'up'(whatever that means) and became 'Pharoahic and Nebucadnezed'...we will see on another day!
