The Merciful King!

A king had a gigantic building where he left his subjects with a lot of goodies to make merry and feel good. However, he became alarmed when he saw that the house was being engulfed in flames. From the pinnacle where his throne was located he could see the fire so clearly but his unsuspecting subject knew nothing of the danger that was upon them.
Hurriedly the king sends a messenger 'Hurry! Tell them to move over to the other great house. That I have sent messengers to see to it that that house is furnished with supplies 10 times more than this current one but they must vacate the building before it is too late!'
The messenger comes in and said 'His royal majesty has sent me to invite you to this other more beautiful and more furnished house with more space and goodies beyond your wildest dreams. O I wish you'd come with me at once to this other place!' For the servant thought within himself 'Let me not tell them the reason for the evacuation lest I alarm them!'
Well, after the good message of this messenger, the people reasoned among themselves 'Why does His Majesty trouble himself about us. We love it here and let's have the goodies here. You know, it's better the devil you know than the devil you don't know' So the king's advice went unheeded and with every passing moment, the peril of their state worsened.
The king was soon to discover from the loud music and jamboree that these subjects were yet to heed his warning and the fire was closing them in! Already he'd furnished another more spacious and incomparably more beautiful place somewhere quite far away however, his anxiety mounted with the impending doom! He sent someone else 'Please move them out of there by all means possible! Tell them of their danger and my great provision in this other better house. Tell them I will handsomely reward everyone that comes out. Tell them they must move or die!' The second messenger reasoned 'O, I don't want to cause a stampede. I will try to compel them by emphasizing the reward part. I will harp on the gold and silver and the beauty of this other house and the bountiful supplies' Well the people heard him out and said 'Why? We have it all here. This is heaven to us and we have enough rewards down here. Why need we worry about going up some other place? Let's just be merry and drink to our king's health and long life. Long live the King!'
Finally, with the flames almost cutting off any route of escape a messenger came who hollered ' His majesy sees from his exalted throne that most parts of this house is on fire. In fact this house will soon cave in on all who in it are! Fire! Danger! Let's run along folks. Stop not to pick anything! This is no time for silver or gold. His majesty is in no lack of those things and whatever any man forfeits in this flight, he'd get back a hundred fold. Hurry! We must all flee now! See, you can almost smell the smoke'
I want to ask you dear reader, who among the several messengers told the whole truth of the King's Urgent Message?
