That all humans fail at some point in their lives is an inescapable
fact. Failing is just part of normal human life and there is no reason to be
alarmed when it happens. Though some of my Christian brothers from the Pentecostal
family may argue that they cannot fail. I don’t dispute that. My point is – as humans
failure cannot be completely isolated from our lives,
failing is expected from
time to time, there is no reason to get depressed when it happens. This doesn’t
mean I celebrate failure in any way but it doesn’t call for dejection or
self-flagellation either. The challenge is the manner in which we respond to
failure: it can lead to more devastating failures or to greater heights of
success. The moment we come to realize that occasional failure is inevitable,
and that it happens to even the most successful people, its stigma is removed. Step
on that event you perceive as failure and push yourself to greater heights of
success. Don’t stay down, get up.
