DIVIDE IT.
The Exodus:
When they got to the red sea and couldn't cross, Moses said to the children of Israel, don't fear, stand still and see what God will do. But the way I see it, God wasn't expecting that from Moses. Rather He was expecting Moses to act instead of waiting for God to act - and the Lord said to Moses, "why do you cry to me?" ...Exodus 14:15 . Which means why are you disturbing me, why are you calling on me?
God expects us to handle any situation we see before us. Regardless of the prodigiousness. You can imagine what God said to Moses in this severe situation - red sea in front, Egyptians behind, mountain on one side, valley on the other. You will agree with me that this was a precarious situation. Yet God asked moses, "why are you crying out to me?"
"15. The Lord said to Moses, Why do you cry to Me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward!
16. Lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, and the Israelites shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea." Vs 15&16(AMP)
You know, on our day to day walk and work, we want everything to be done for us. For instance if I was Moses, I expect God to say "son, step back let me perform miracle now. I will divide the red sea so you all can pass." But that's not what God expects of us. The bible makes us to understand in Eph. 1:3 May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! (AMP) The way I see it, as Christians, we have ALL it takes to live a complete and hassle free life here on earth.
Therefore, I encourage you today to go ahead and divide that red sea in front of you because God has given you the ability and capability to do so. Disregard the size of the challenge. No matter how big or how small your faith is, have faith in your faith for you can move mountains with it.
Don't forget to search the scriptures, you will find every solution in it. Go for the Word of God, don't stop searching until you find it. And when you do, hold onto it with all diligence, because your life depends on it.
