JESUS CHRIST IS THE KING, RULER AND JUDGE OF ALL THE EARTH (PART I)
:After Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He said to His disciples, "ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH..." That is a very big and serious statement of truth, that the whole world needs to pay all of their attention to. There are kings and rulers in Heaven, but Jesus is the King and Ruler over them all. There are kings, rulers, presidents, politicians and so on--on the earth, but Jesus is the King and Ruler above them all. In other words, Jesus is the King over all of God's creation. For a person, to have the highest position of authority over all things, he/she must be placed in that position of authority by God Himself, and Jesus Christ the Son of God made it clear, that the Father (God) has given Him all the authority in both Heaven and on earth, over all creation (including human beings). Now, what is the significance of God letting us know that Jesus is Lord and king over all things? Why do we, as human beings need to know that? It is because Jesus is no ordinary King or Ruler, He is a King, Ruler and Judge who delights in and demands righteousness and justice from all human beings. And the Bible says that,"HE (GOD) HAS SET A DAY WHEN HE IS GOING TO JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY THE MAN (JESUS CHRIST) HE HAS APPOINTED. HE HAS PROVED THIS TO EVERY ONE BY RAISING HIM FROM THE DEAD." As you can see, there is a day coming, when all human beings will have to stand before Jesus one-by-one giving account of themselves and the things that they have done in their lives; and as I said, Jesus is no ordinary Judge, He will judge the world in righteousness. Judging the world in righteousness means that He will not let evil doers, sinners and wicked people get away their actions. You know, in this life, you see many people doing many evil, wrong and terrible things: and a lot of times it looks like they get away with it and nothing happens to them. But this is what God has to say about it, "BECAUSE PUNISHMENT FOR SIN AND EVIL WORKS DOES NOT HAPPEN RIGHT AWAY, THE HEARTS OF HUMAN BEINGS ARE FULLY SET IN THEM TO CONTINUE TO DO EVIL AND SIN... BUT GOD WILL JUDGE THEM, AND REPAY THEM FOR THEIR EVIL WORKS." The judgment for sin is death and Hell, it is separation from God forever, in a place where God says, "THERE WILL BE WEEPING (CRYING, SORROW) AND GNASHING OF TEETH (PAIN)." The Bible is very clear that all human beings have sinned against God, and as a result of their sins, they have to be judged according to their sins. BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT? THERE'S GOOD NEWS TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN AND ACCEPT THE LORDSHIP AND SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST: I WILL TELL YOU ABOUT IT IN PART III, SO LOOK OUT FOR IT.
